Mission Trip (Church / Youth / Friends or Individual)
Serving together and being changed in the process.

Mission trips are an incredible way for churches, youth groups, groups of friends, or even individuals to make a real impact—both spiritually and practically. These trips offer a unique opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and be the hands and feet of Jesus. Whether you’re sharing the gospel, caring for people through feeding programs, or joining local churches in outreach efforts, a mission trip is a chance to live out your faith in action.

At KIDS, we’ve had groups of all sizes come together to serve. Some focus on spiritual impact, like hosting a Youth Lab Praise Party and worshiping alongside local youth, or going on an outreach with a local church to share the gospel and build relationships. Others dive into practical projects, like helping with construction needs at a local church, running feeding programs, or assisting with community service initiatives. Mission trips are a balance of both—making a difference spiritually and meeting real, tangible needs.

But mission trips aren’t just about what you do; they’re about how God uses the experience to change you. When you serve others, you gain a new perspective on faith, humility, and what it means to truly love your neighbor. Time and time again, we’ve seen people leave with a deeper relationship with Christ, a stronger connection to their group, and a heart that’s forever shaped by the experience.

These trips also have a unique way of bringing groups together like nothing else can. Whether it’s a church team, a youth group, or even a few close friends, serving side by side creates bonds that last long after the trip ends. It’s an experience that challenges, grows, and unites in a way that’s hard to replicate anywhere else.

A mission trip is more than just an adventure or a project—it’s a step of faith that allows God to work through you and in you. We can’t wait to see how He moves in your group as you step out to serve and share His love!

See what a mission trip could look like for you!

LODGING AND COST
What is the cost?
A girl holding a bright orange sign that says 'Welcome"
30 days or less :  $50 USD / person / night or $110 USD for a family. (We want families to serve and know with kids it can be difficult to pay for everything. So... our price is the same no matter how many kids you have!!!!
More than 30 days and less than 3 months : Your cost of the stay is $35 USD / person / night or $90 USD for a family.
What it covers : Your payment covers the following costs.  Airport pickup/drop off, Lodging, Meals, all ministry opportunities and an experience of a lifetime (you probably will be back!)
What doesn't cover : Your ticket and any activities you would like to do while here. We also have people who will do special things for kids, staff or families like bringing them out to eat. Of course, this is entirely optional.
What about the food?
Children lined up to get food.
We know your asking the same thing the boy in the picture... "What's for dinner?"  We know, food can be the thing that makes or breaks a trip. We give you an experience of what local food tastes like along with serving favorite dishes of people who visit.
Being honest, once in a while we get complaints about the food though... "I am going to gain weight while I am here!!!". Haha. It is true though! Breakfasts are usually eggs, omelets, French toast and pancakes. Lunch, we let you try Filipino food (usually visitors favorite meals!) and then in the evening we do more western type food (Lasagna and Chicken Pesto Pasta are two of my personal favorites)
Not convinced? OK. Here is a link to our menu. It may change occasional, but it will give you the general idea.

Probably the most common question... What is the lodging like? I am going to the Philippines and am pretty nervous. Will it be comfortable and safe?
Answer... YES. Although our ministry is located right in the middle of the community we serve, it is on its own compound and very controlled. We have a pool... YES! Cool off at night and go down the large slide and jump off the 25 ft jump into the pool! Hang out on the porch in the morning and have some coffee before going out on a feeding.
Click on the pictures:  see them full screen. We have 16 bedrooms and a dorm area. We have enough space to easily handle 60 - 100 people. Each room has A/C and a heated shower.

One last thing
Children in a long line for food and someone putting food in their cups.
Your visit helps us in many ways. We love to see our kids experience things they could never have experienced without you coming to visit. You paying for your stay helps us pay for the ministry. You bring the story back and tell others. There are so many benefits of people visiting.

With that said, there is more you can do. When you come, tell others about your trip. Raise some funds to help us! Help us pay our teachers, provide food, care for kids in our homes. It is so hard to raise funds to just run the ministry! Anything you can bring to help us with our core purpose... Breaking the cycle of poverty by loving, teaching and serving.

If you have other ideas of how to help us, please just ask. Bring donations with you, speak to your school or church. There are so many ways to help.
